   Questions and Answers
We will address some of the most important issues and common questions asked by women who are experiencing sexual problems:

If a woman has low libido, does that mean she suffers from female sexual dysfunction?
We have found that there are several definitions for female sexual dysfunction. Some doctors say yes to that question and some say no. It is natural for women's sexual desires to increase and decrease with normal hormonal fluctuations from hour to hour, day to day, and even week to week. It is when the hormonal fluctuations become abnormal that it can cause an unnatural loss of libido, and this is more severe and more commonly referred to in general as sexual dysfunction. Sexual dysfunction can also be relative and what is normal sexual desire for one woman and feel like low libido to another. So, we will refer to sexual dysfunction as any loss of sexual desire in general, from internal and/or external factors.

What are the causes of low libido in women?
There are several factors that can affect a woman's libido. The causes can be internal and/or external.
Normal low libido and changes in libido are minor and temporary. These can be caused from hormonal fluctuations due to pregnancy, menstruation cycles, menopause, lack of sleep, weight changes, stress, oral contraceptives, anxiety, depression, strenuous exercise, etc.
Abnormal low libido or even loss of libido (sexual drive and satisfaction) can be caused from a variety of factors. Including; illness, medications, sexual abuse, surgery, mental disorders, etc. Many of these factors are due to external circumstances, but also cause hormonal fluctuations and imbalances that results in low libido. But, sexual trauma for example, affects the mind and emotions resulting in loss of libido due to psychological factors.

Is female low libido a physiological or a psychological problem?
Low libido can be caused by be either or both.
An example of low libido caused from a physiological (physical) factor would be pregnancy. Physiological causes can usually be quickly identified and dealt with.
An example of low libido caused from a psychological (mental) factor would be depression. Often, women who suffer from a psychological disorder see a counselor or therapist and this helps to treat the problem.

Can herbal libido pills help all women?
Unless there are severe circumstances, herbal libido enhancing pills can improve the quality of most women's sex life. You can take the pills just when you need a sexual boost, or on a daily basis for other health benefits. You should not take herbal libido pills if you are pregnant or nursing. You should also consult your physician if you have an existing medical condition.

Do you review prescription female libido enhancing pills?
We only review natural female libido pills which are made with herbal ingredients. This is considered a relatively new field in the medical community and we noticed there were very few comprehensive reviews on these herbal pills, so we want to help fill that void. Prescription medications have already been tested and approved, but many women do not want the side effects often associated with prescription drugs. We prefer taking a homeopathic approach whenever possible and many women feel the effectiveness of herbal libido pills is better than prescription pills, especially because there are no unwanted side effects!

We've listed the 'cause and effect' for many of the factors linked to low libido in women.
For example: the cause could be menopause and the effect could be low libido.
